Where It All Began
“Good Morning” was one of the first songs written for our early playgroups—created as a way to bring children together through rhythm and joy. What started as a simple idea for my son Gandhi’s playgroup has now become an important part of our Circle Time at FireFly Forest School, where over 30 children gather every morning to sing, stretch, and start the day with open hearts. 💛
The laughter, the clapping, and the cheerful “Good Morning!” echoes through the forest, setting a tone of positivity and community that carries through the whole day.
Why “Good Morning” Matters
- 🌞 It builds connection. Singing together helps children feel part of something bigger—a caring community that starts the day united.
- 🎵 It encourages confidence and expression. The simple melody and lyrics make it easy for kids to join in proudly.
- 🌿 It nurtures gratitude and mindfulness. The act of greeting the new day helps children appreciate the beauty around them.
- 💛 It sets the tone for joyful learning. A positive start helps children engage more deeply with the world throughout the day.
From Playgroup to Recording Studio
When the idea came to record the song, we teamed up with P’OA at OA Studio in Bangkok, who helped us bring the sound to life. We recorded the children’s voices right here at FireFly Forest School and filmed the music video with Guy Phumin Poomsri, capturing the pure joy and innocence of childhood mornings in our forest community.
This song isn’t just about waking up—it’s about waking up to the beauty of life. Every smile, every voice, every “Good Morning!” is a celebration of togetherness.
