At FireFly Forest School children will run and play.
The classroom is not just a rectangular room with a table to study.
But we will use the whole area of the school and the whole world is a classroom.
We study trees, grass, sky, insects, raising chickens, collecting eggs, growing vegetables to eat and use food scraps to make fertilizer.

In this process we are creating a learning space that offers stability and safety. By teaching the rhythms of “Days, Times, Seasons”, the children create a calendar of life, we will create curiosity (love of learning) and help them grow closer to nature. We encourage the development of children in all 3 areas:

Sawasdee ka, dear families! My name is Warunya—or Mama June, as the children lovingly call me—and it’s my heartfelt joy to welcome you to Firefly Forest School.
Here, in the heart of Bangkok, we offer a bilingual, nature experiential-based learning journey for children aged 1 to 11. A place where the seeds of curiosity bloom, and the spirit of wonder grows wild and free.
This school is my dream woven into reality. It began years ago when I homeschooled my son, Gandhi, in Suan Rot Fai Park, watching his eyes sparkle as he chased butterflies, planted seeds, and lived close to the earth.
Charlotte Mason once said, “We are all meant to be naturalists, each in his own degree.” I believe every child carries within them a seed of wonder, waiting to blossom.

Our New School in Ladprao Soi 35
Our new location on Ladprao Soi 35 opened its gates on May 22nd 2023. We have more space and a bigger outdoor area and playground for exploring and being in touch with nature.
